The Give-Away Madness continues here on Chaos Chronicles! This week, get in the game to win a copy of the very funny, shockingly helpful book by Lisa Quinn: Life’s Too Short to Fold Fitted Sheets: Your Ultimate Guide to Domestic Liberation.
Lisa Qunn is an Emmy award-winning TV host, set dresser, author and mom.
Her take on creating domestic bliss without the headache of perfection really speaks to me. Her motto: Lower Standards with Style. Love that, especially the style part, because there seems to be a lot of domestic divas out there preaching lower standards with lower standards. How hard is that to pull off? Aren’t we all doing that already? But Lower Standards with Style? You need a guide book for that.
Lisa’s book gives you the tool to fake it good. After reading Life’s Too Short to Fold Fitted Sheets in my car during my son’s lacrosse practice, I learned more in an hour- and -half about entertaining, decorating, housekeeping and hostessing than in a lifetime subscription to Real Simple or Martha Stewart Living. By the time I got to the bit about kids birthday parties ( No goodie bags, no expensive paper goods, simple games and crafts, small numbers of kids and no presents! Does that sound like me or what?) I was an acolyte.
Because she’s right, Life is too short to fold fitted sheets. But, long enough to want to create a life with a little style and panache.
Lisa Quinn has offered to send copies of Life’s Too Short to Fold Fitted Sheets to two lucky member of the Chaos Crew. Here’s how– and it’s going to take a little effort but not too much effort– because that’s the message of the book. Just complete this sentence and automatically be entered in a drawing to win. I’ll announce the two winners on the Chaos Chronicles Podcast 233 posted on May 27th.
