Last Friday night, Sheila and I got back onstage at The Ice House in Pasadena in the name of raising money for a great organization, the Cancer Support Community, which provides support to cancer patients and their family members , all free of charge. Good cause, great event. We were honored to be a part of it.
And, can I tell you, we had a blast! The whole she-bang was fun, from writing the material to rehearsal to the obligatory hair and make-up. There were only a few tense moments backstage before our debut. I’ll give you a hint: Sheila was hangry. ( You can listen to the behind the scenes on the Satellite Sisters podcast this week.) Once she was fed, we had a fantastic time being back on stage together.
Here’s the clip provided by the Ice House. Please pardon the blurriness. It’s long and, unfortunately, not as crisp on YouTube as it is on my home computer. But, take it from me, we looked fabulous. Hahaha.
