Last Saturday night, I was on The Mark Isler Show here in Southern California with Alison Arngrim and Mary McDonough, otherwise known as Nellie Olesen from Little House on the Prairie and Erin Walton from The Waltons. Frankly, I don’t know why I was on the gig, other than to soak in the wit, wisdom and sisterhood of the other two women. Alison and Mary are friends from way back when they were sporting pigtails and gingham dresses and their affection for each other was obvious. I simply enjoyed being in on the conversation.
So, I thought I’d pass along information on a gig they are doing together TONIGHT Wednesday November 16th at 7 PM at the Santa Monica Public Library. Good Girl Erin and Bad Girl Nellie in conversation with each other and the audience, chatting about their interesting lives, challenges and transitions. Oh, and they’ll be signing their books as well. The event is free, open to all. But get there early because I know I’m not the only 40 -something woman in Southern California who grew up with these two as Ying and Yang role models!
Embracing my Chaos,
Lian

Wonderful podcast. Touching and inspiring.
What a wonderful episode of the podcast. You hit all the right notes, Lian. Thanks, as always.
Beautiful. Sad. Inspiring.
My prayers to the father and son, and you.
Just listened to the podcast and happened to see you posted the photo you mentioned. What a treat! You should frame this and put it on the wall in the closet (ok, maybe on your desk).
Would you believe me if I told you I’m just a year/two younger than you and I haven’t never watched the Waltons or Little House on the Praire? honest…
