Attention Entrepeneurial Women: Win a Pass to ltdLive, a conference to Inspire, Inform and Educate

by Lian on January 5, 2012

Update! Thanks to all who commented to win. The lucky winner is Candy! She’ll be attending and writing a guest post for us about her take-away from the day…

Attention Dreamers, Tinkerers and Makers of Stuff…

I’m so excited announce a great give-away for those of you in the Southern California: a chance to win a two-day pass for you and your Satellite Sister to attend the ltdLive Conference for Entrepreneurial Women. That’s right, a two-day pass for two to this inspiring conference.

ltdLIVE connects entrepreneurial women to the best experts, tools, tips, communities and organizations that will move their ventures forward.

Last year I was a panelist for this new conference and I hung around to hear all the speakers and attend several other panel discussions, including a fantastic panel on venture capital with some real smartypants- types. I left the event feeling inspired, with a renewed focus on my business. For those of you working away on your own on your Big Idea, you know how hard it can be to start something and stick with it. This is an opportunity to connect, learn and eat lunch with people other than your dog!

This year, I’ll be the emcee for the day so I’ll definitely get a chance to hear some great women talk about their businesses. And, if you are the lucky winner, you’ll be there, too, with your Satellite Sister. If you don’t win, please consider buying tickets for the event anyway. It’s a worthwhile investment in your business, I promise.

Here  are the Rules for the Give-away:

  • Leave a comment at Include your number one work goal for the year if you’d like. By leaving a comment, you are entered in the give-away and have given permission for your comment to be used on The Chaos Chronicles Podcast.
  • Comments must be posted by 5 pm PST , Monday January 16th, 2012
  • The winner will be picked by Random Drawing on January 17, 2012. The winner will be contacted by email.
  • The prize includes the Gal Pal pass only. No travel or parking.

Good luck! Lian

I’d love to go to this conference! I’ve got tons of ideas swirling around in my head of what to do next, and this conference would be a great way to get focused and on track. Thanks so much for this opportunity, Lian!

I would love to attend the conference and learn how to increase my exposure in the Pasadena area and beyond with my photography business. I want to further expand into doing head shots and events for clients.

I would like to help non-profits attract funding from non-traditional funding sources, such as social entrepreneurs.

My number one goal for 2012 is to grow my professional organizing business average 2 bookings a week by the last quarter of the year by implementing my plan for free meetups and workshops through Northeast Los Angeles!

Nadine January 10, 2012 at 12:37 PM

My goal for 2012 is to get back into the job market. After staying at home for a dozen years, I think it’s time to get back into it.

Wilma Salvatierra January 5, 2012 at 7:45 PM

My goal for 2012 is to devote more time and energy on a great business idea I have talked about for the past 3 years. I have taken little steps but I am now ready to leap!!

Connie Campbell Henry January 5, 2012 at 12:04 PM

My main goal for 2012 is to figure out how to copyright and mass produce and market a Wellness Binder for individuals to track and organize their medical journey toward wellness.

Kristin January 5, 2012 at 12:04 PM

My goal is to get my recently established private practice independently solvent so I can quit my current job; I suppose that could mean challenges if I were to be lucky enough to win ($$$) but I love the idea!~

My number one goal for 2012 is to focus my time and energy so I can be more effective in my work. Work smarter, not harder, right? This conference sounds fantastic and like it would be a great kick in the pants for me. Would love to attend and I hope I win a ticket! Thanks for posting about it.

My main goal for 2012 is to learn all the programs necessary for web design and use those to benefit non-profit agencies. Secondly, I would like to learn grant writing. (Funny that the first commenter wants to be independent of grants; most organizations I participate with would love to have them!)

gilles January 5, 2012 at 11:31 AM

I’d like for myself and my theater company to be independent of the vagaries of grants and donations. This means a nice steady stream of *revenue*!
