I like yours better. I’d be all, “Ooh, I’m a Duchess, look at all the security around me because I borrowed this.” (don’t ask me why I just said this aloud in the voice of Daisy from Downton Abbey) Frankly, I’d be unnerved by the pressure to not break it.

Thanks for posting the photo of your necklace, I’ve been wondering what it looked like! I have a pair of $6 poinsettia earrings that I pull out every Christmas and get embarrassingly rave reviews. Whenever I get compliments on them I want to confess how inexpensive they are, but I don’t.
