I DID support Tim Riggins! I went to see John Carter (yes, stupidest movie name ever!!). It was not a good movie, but since I only paid $3, I’ll call it a success.

Now that I know that he is in Battleship, I might go see that too.

I loved the comment you made about going to prison for something he didn’t do. Hilarious!

Best word I have for John Edwards, fit to type, is narcissist. Ultimately, I feel most for his children, especially the youngest.

LOL the comment about Zuckerberg not being Omar from the Wire. So true. And Lian, I too am a little bitter!

John Edwards may very well walk away a freeman from the charges….I hope not though. It seems he did try to use ‘campaign funds’ of some kind to hide a relationship & a baby from the public & his wife. Oh wait, his dying wife. I didn’t think anyone could outdo Newt Gingrich in the creepy dirtbag husband category…but, John Edwards flew past Newt into the lifetime lead. I always thought John ‘Hair’ Edwards was in love w/himself far more than anyone else.

I do pray his children have a chance to grow up healthy, happy, & w/fond memories of their loving mother. I hope his youngest child has a shot at a good life free of media scrutiny.

Zuckerberg…how funny…he did wear a suit – when he got married. That’s a big weekend, billionaire elite status, and a wedding. No sweatshirt hoodie in sight.

Lian, Calvin Trillin says in his book, “Deciding on the Decider: The 2008 Presidential Campaign in Rhyme”, in his poem on Edwards _ “Yes I know he’s a mill worker’s son, but there’s Hollywood in that hair.”

The term “hoodie” really bugs me. It was SWEATSHIRT until Hollywood girls and gang bangers appropriated it. It’s such a cutesy word for what has become a sad symbol in Trayvon Martin’s tragic death.
And, by the way, Zuckerberg, you’re no Omar from The Wire; so like Lian’s husband said, “Put on a jacket!” [Yes, I'm feeling old and cranky, too.]
